If you've found yourself on this blog, chances are you love fit fashion and athleisure as much as I do.

My name is Katy, and when I'm not busy trying to talk myself out of new activewear I don’t need, I like to jet all over the country, run half marathons, do CrossFit, tinker with my GoPro and eat snacks.

When @j.nooch53 & @n8keo said they weren’t going

When @j.nooch53 & @n8keo said they weren’t going to the gym I decided that neither would I. 😝 Took the 40-pounder out into the parking lot and got my butt kicked by a modified version of the gym’s programmed EMOM instead 🥵

In other news, the @lululemon Power Thru Tank is giving me life: I’ve only owned it for 7 days but I’ve worn it at least 3x already 🤩

Happy to report that I did not get struck by light

Happy to report that I did not get struck by lightning, despite being around a bunch of tall things in the middle of the desert with a storm approaching. Third visit to Seven Magic Mountains and I've still yet to experience a blue sky. ⛈️⁠

Racing is BACK and Mother Nature, I’ve got a bon

Racing is BACK and Mother Nature, I’ve got a bone to pick with you. First you make it 45° and rainy all Memorial Day Weekend long. Six days later, you cranked the humidity to 94% and turned the oven on for my first in person race since 2019.

Thanks to her shenanigans, my race plan went to hell in a handbasket after 6mi, and my only goal from then on was to survive. 🥵

Thankfully I’ve run enough of these now to take solace in the fact that one insanely hot day is not an accurate indicator of how well @e2training got me ready for this race.

As my Dad always says about less than optimal experiences...

“Hey, it builds character” 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you to @hmf_events for putting on another great race that already has me plotting my revenge PR 24 hours later 😈

I don’t always work from home, but when I do - it looks something like this. 😎

...until the sun comes around and starts beating down on you. Now I’m hidden under a golf umbrella with my laptop like a hermit crab. 17/10 chance the neighbors think I’ve lost my marbles.

I’m all suited up and ready to go for a “FFLR” (aka fast finish long run) at the half marathon distance - Joanna said run 13 miles but I can’t not add .11 - so of course I’m procrastinating by posting a photo of my new shirt instead of starting said run. 😬 I’ve definitely been pushing out of my comfort zone this training cycle but that doesn’t mean spicy paces don’t scare me.
