My name is Katy, and when I'm not busy trying to talk myself out of new activewear I don’t need, I like to jet all over the country, run half marathons, do CrossFit, tinker with my GoPro and eat snacks.

Today, I popped by @lululemon to get a rogue security tag removed from an online order. I walked out with the larkspur Define Jacket, and I’d do it again. 😌

First 10K in forty two (!!!) days. Marking the Str

First 10K in forty two (!!!) days. Marking the Strava badge-winning occasion with an in-feed post because I’ve been out of the running game for a bit. I’ve been fighting with myself on how/when to get back into running a bazillion miles a week, and if I’ll truly be able to juggle learning the new job and training a full marathon later this year. One mile (whether it’s running or traveling) at a time.

First day on snow this season! Cold Katy was also

Blue skies beckoned, and with the 10° temps, I hoped the hill wouldn’t be too crowded. Playing SkiFree was fun time on my parents computer in 1992, but dodging people all over the place IRL not so much.

The exhaustive list of layers it took not to freeze today:

10 runs done, not a single wipeout. All that lesson time in @aspensnowmass last season paid off!

Was I supposed to show up in here with some curated reel of 2021 highlights? Whoops. Barreling into 2022 with some chaotic energy instead. 🥴

2021 post race blues still have not gone away. Trained really well! Raced like garbage. Can barely drag myself out for 3 miles nowadays. Mitten Run was a happy fluke.

Got that job that I’ve been hustling for 14 years to get! Haven’t made it to a puck drop yet because COVID.

This afternoon I went to urgent care to play a fun game called “sinus infection or COVID” - what a positive experience that was.

I’ve been advised it’s not how about you start things, it’s how you finish. Time to start 2022 in quarantine, and, uh… let’s see where we go from there 😂
