Time for another guest post! There’s been a good amount of buzz around last week’s &Go Where To Dress (Rulu! Pockets!), and Reader Shannon – you may remember her 2015 Seawheeze Recap – was kind enough to put in her 2 cents after having bought one last week. Enough rambling out of me, on with the intel!
&Go Where To Dress Fit Review (Guest Post)
I’m a sucker for Rulu and Lululemon that I can wear to the office, so you know I ordered the newest dress from the &Go capsule that landed last week. I went with the Heathered Black, thinking that it would look great layered over tights with boots later in the fall (the Sapphire Blue just seems too summery to me).
Overall I LOVE this dress, so much so that I put it on and wore it to work the morning I received it (aka I tried it on and refused to take it off, thus the work bathroom selfies). The heathered rulu fabric is really nice and thick, not as soft as some of my rulu tops but still very cozy and structured enough to hide little imperfections. The length is really nice – conservative enough to wear to work but not frumpy.
I’m in between sizes in Lulu right now – for a lot of tops and sweaters I stay with a 4, but for most pants (Inspires, WUCs, etc.) I’ve been sizing up to a 6. I decided to get the &Go dress in a 6, and it’s perfect for me. I think for this if you want a tighter fit you can go TTS, but if you’re between sizes I recommend definitely going with your larger size.
There are some complaints on the product reviews about some puckering from the small zippered pocket along the back. I couldn’t get a good picture of it, but given that my dress isn’t skin tight I didn’t even notice the puckering. If you’re looking for it or are squeezed into the dress like a sausage, then sure… but it was not nearly enough to keep me from ripping the tags off of mine.
Overall, this is one of my favorite recent purchases! Fingers crossed it comes out in the heathered cranberry like the skirt!
