Is anyone else’s time machine on the fritz this week? The time-space continuum is warped because I blinked and not only is it NFL season, September is 2/3 over and OBTW I am into Week 10 of training for the NYC Marathon. Training no longer looks like the same mileage as a half marathon. I am now realizing how doubly insane I am, and my head is spinning.
BUT WHAT SHALL I WEAR?!?!
5 Faves & a Dud: 9/20/22 Edition
Favorite #1: Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve Shirt 2.0 Race Length in Moonlit Magenta
After getting and falling head over heels for the Hotty Hot High Rise Short in 4”, I now want to go on a mission to buy all the Moonlit Magenta. My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks. Wink wink nudge nudge to anyone reading this that’s close enough to me to want to buy me a gift…
Favorite #2: Ebb to Street Long Sleeve Shirt in Pale Raspberry
Now THIS is a top I can see myself running around the house in all winter long. I’m highlighting Pale Raspberry because I want to believe I’ll change things up, but let’s be real… I’ll likely get the black one.
Favorite #3: lululemon Align™ Super-High-Rise Pant 28″ in Diamond Dye Pitch Grey Graphite Grey
I’m just a girl in front of a laptop clicking the “add to cart” button, and all lululemon.com is telling me is “HTTP header is larger than 10240 bytes.” Why don’t you want to take my money?
Favorite #4: Wunder Puff Cropped Vest in Purple Blossom Light
The color is the real winner for me here. If you’re more of a sleeves gal, this color also uploaded in the Wunder Puff Cropped Jacket. Adding this to my WMTM watch list, because I need another piece of winter outerwear like Jeff Bezos needs your spare change.
Favorite #5: All Aligned Mock Neck Long Sleeve Shirt Crushed Velvet in Black
It’s too early to say the C-word, let’s get through pumpkins, ghosts and turkeys first. But, this would look phenomenal at a ‘holiday-which-shall-not-be-named’ cocktail shindig. You’ll be looking classy, not like a ho (ho ho) – see what I did there?
The Dud: Rest Less Pullover in Stratum Overlay Smoked Spruce/Wasabi
I’ve tried to give the Rest Less a shot over the years, thinking of it as a thicker Swiftly. It’s fine as far as a clothing item goes, but this Smoked Spruce & Wasabi mashup didn’t need to happen.
Usually I don’t do this, and I suppose I’m coming around on the Scuba Oversized Half-Zip Hoodie train (after 4 months I just detagged my strawberry milkshake one last week), so I wanted to point out this bright beauty and half of an Oscar the Grouch Costume (aka Scuba Oversized Half-Zip Fleece Hoodie). Seriously. Ping pong balls and a sharpie. I MIGHT DO IT.
Release Date: lululemon Strongfeel Women’s Training Shoe
One of my favorite things to do is snoop through stock photos and see if I can sneak a peek at new color releases. Clicking around today, the “Fall 2022” has updated and we officially have a release date announced for the Strongfeels: October 3, 2022.
With the colors I’m seeing sneak into stock photos, there will definitely be options that lend themselves to wearing them as lifestyle shoes. Some days I’m digging the pink, others I’m on the fence.
OBTW… Everywhere Belt Bag restock status:
Black swooped back in stock quickly as I headed out for my run this afternoon, but has since disappeared again. Looking like White Opal is all there is for the OG size. The Everywhere Belt Bag Large seems to have Grey Sage available. If you’re in the market for one, start watching the site around 2pm on Tuesdays.
But wait, isn’t there more?
Yes, there is, but TBH I cannot look away from the Bachelorette finale and stop annoying poor Nate with every happening while he’s away on business. He’s sat through every episode with me so far this season and HOW DARE HE not be around for this dumpster fire. Once my texting fingers get tired I’ll be back to recap the rest of this week’s highlights in the morning!
One reality TV disaster later…
I’ve had good luck on lululemon rain gear in the past, can confirm it actually does keep you dry in a downpour. My go-to rain jacket is now 8 years old and finally starting to show some signs of the abuse I’ve put it through over the years. Wondering if maybe it’s time for a new all-season workhorse?
