Ahhh, it’s the second Tuesday in a row that I’ve not purchased anything from this week’s lululemon upload! I was prepared to SHOP last week due to it being both the first upload of the month, *and* my birthday. Alas… I did a little scrolly scroll over margaritas with boyfriend, and, surprisingly no dice. My wallet doesn’t mind, because I’m conveniently “forgetting” about the new Sorels and Brooks I’ve picked up in the last few weeks.

Oh well. Still some promise. Had a last-minute business trip to Chicago dropped on my plate, so this week I plan to hit up lululemon’s 20,000 square foot flagship in Lincoln Park if I’m able to fit it into my schedule. It’s inevitable something will catch my eye, I haven’t done much lululemon tourism in a while. Aspen was a bust last week, so maybe in Chicago I’ll at least find a burger?
5 Faves & a Dud: 10/12/21 Edition
In the spirit of the return of DWTS and my spending far too much time binge watching The Circle on Netflix, every item’s getting a score tonight.
Favorite #1: Free to Be Longline Bra – Wild ($58) in Ripened Raspberry
Color is a yes. Feminine aesthetic is a yes. Support? Minus one. 9/10.
Favorite #2: Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 28″ ($98) in Capri
Beautiful jewel tone, wonderful sweat wicking fabric for all sorts of sweaty workouty goodness. Might show dirt if you hit the floor or the wrong piece of equipment in the CrossFit gym. 9/10.
Favorite #3: Energy Bra ($52) in Clementine
Super fun happy color, which we all need as the days so rudely get shorter. Tried and true style and fit. 10/10.
Favorite #4: Define Jacket ($118) in Capri
Unsure if there’s a skin tone that doesn’t get along with Capri. Going to have to try this on if I can find it in Chicago! 10/10.
Favorite #5: Fast and Free High-Rise Crop 23″ ($128) in Ink Vapor Ice Grey Multi
The only crux with light/dark patterns is that when you bend, they lighten up a bit. These remind me of the galactic-looking Runday Crops that had (and then sold b/c slippy fullux). I don’t love the 23″ length, but the 19″ offerings are sparse. I could see myself falling in love with these if I try them on. 9/10.
They also arrived in the Base Pace High-Rise Tight 25″ if that style is more your jam.
The Dud: Nulu™ Colour Block High-Rise Tight 25″ ($118) in Copper Brown/Bold Beige
All in all, I’m not all that mad at the design. It’s fun, it’s mod, it’s different. But of all color combinations, this is what we went with? Giving these a 4/10.

Well Happy birthday! Nada here for me too. The colour block is not my thing at all. The seems don’t even line up on the leg?? Tempted by the ebb to street tank top, but no idea what I’d use it for except loungewear.
