Photos & Sizing Notes: Lululemon Stretch Rib Pocketed Romper

lululemonReviews

So I’m approaching the latter half of my 30’s and trying to stay cool and hip. I believe the proper term for what I’m about to do is called a “photo dump”… aka I picked up lululemon’s Stretch Rib Pocketed Romper on a late June shopping spree and it’s gotten TONS of mileage since then.

When the lighting in the hotel room hits right, you take advantage, even if your face proves why you will NEVER have a career in modeling. Never. Ever.

Sizing Notes

For reference, I’m 5’9″, 165lbs and a TTS 8 on top and 10 on the bottom.

If I can give you ONE takeaway and fit notes, it’s that this romper is incredibly generous in fit. By all means lululemon’s size chart says that I am a size 10. I wear a 10 in 99.9% of the bottoms I own from them. I tried this romper in an 8 in my local store b/c a 10 wasn’t available, and was surprised to find myself swimming in it. Believe it or not, I ended up taking home a size 6.

If you want a roomy fit in the legs, size down once.

If you want a slimmer fit in the legs, size down twice.

I know I said something along the lines of needing another romper like Swiss cheese needs more holes, but I’m glad that I went all in full price on this one. Plus, the pockets zip shut. WIN.
