and now… the superfluous ramble.

lululemon Black Friday has been live for a few days now, with lululemon having done a bit of gatekeeping with an Early Access selection on the app. One of the biggest surprises was to see lululemon x Disney leftovers (albeit very few) made it into the lineup.

Here’s what I bought so far:

• All It Takes Back-Twist Ribbed Long-Sleeve Shirt in Black
• Hold Tight Straight-Hem Cropped Long-Sleeve Shirt in Bone
• Women’s CrossCity Sneaker in Light Ivory/White/Filbert Tan

I also got the Indochine Blue Hold Tight Long Sleeve Turtleneck for full price because I can’t control myself with the Hold Tight collection.

Other favorites include:

• Hold Tight Long Sleeve – my favorite casual long sleeve, coincidentally wearing one right now
• Scuba Oversized Half Zip – can’t go wrong
• Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve Shirt (Waist Length & Hip Length) – Runners, it’s an excellent time to augment your stock
• Like a Cloud Longline Bra – another comfy all star
• Focuser Scoop Neck Bra – Yet another coincidence, I’m wearing that too. Go figure the only color available in my size is the one I have on right now (raspberry coulis). As a C cup, the C/D version isn’t too big, but I honestly prefer the A/B version to feel a bit more held in.

Currently sitting around ~1100 styles marked down on the women’s side, and 500ish for men.

This is still mind-blowing, because anyone READING A BLOG POST IN 2025 is “I remember when 37 items in WMTM was an insanely high amount” years old. So here’s the no-BS strategy that you probably already know. Pass the knowledge down to your kids, nieces, and nephews:

Keep in mind while shopping…

• If you see any item in plain black on markdown, it’s getting put out to pasture. Grab it before it’s gone forever.
• If you see a ribbed version of something (ex. Aligns, Wunder Trains), the fit is generally a bit more snug.

In the spirit of getting this post up before things sell out and the fact that the most useful part is up top, I’m hitting ‘post’ now, and will keep updating with favorites, like these…

The best lululemon markdowns for: Running

ANYTHING Swiftly. I’ve been tracking every single running outfit I’ve worn for the last 3 years and I’m in lululemon about 85% of the time. Any times sleeves are required the lululemon Swiftly is the undisputed champ. They don’t stink, and can go in the dryer.
