5 Faves & a Dud: Now in Technicolor!

5 Faves & a Dudlululemon

If I could describe December using one word? WOOF.

My full time job has been sucking up every last ounce of spare time and energy over the last month. All work and no play makes Katy a dull girl who barely has the energy to LOOK at lululemon’s latest upload, much less write about it. After another 11 hour crusher I was fully ready to step away from the computer, but then I saw the email from tonight. The fun stuff. The colors. The excitement.

The CHA CHING of holiday gift cards being spent on these insanely bright and fun prints.

Move the FUCK over violet verbena… let us at some bright colors to celebrate to the fact that 2020 is almost in hindsight.

5 Faves & a Dud: 12/29/20 Edition

Favorite #1: Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve 2.0 ($78) in Highlight Yellow

I *really* thought my Christmas lulu gift card was going to make it out of December but… I’ve been JONESING for lulu to do more neon Swiftly LS shirts over the course of the years.

My brights are my #1 go to’s in the months when daylight is at a premium. This is safety gear. This is necessary.

Favorite #2: Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25″ ($118) in Catalyst Multi

You had to know this one was coming. Surprisingly, I will sit them out – only because the SeaWheeze 2019 F&Fs already fill the wild & crazy void in my wardrobe.

Favorite #3: Energy Bra Long Line ($58) in Incentive Refresh Multi

Still loud still fun just a little bit less “Spring Break” and a little more “Is it too early to buy Valentine’s Day candy yet?”

Favorite #4: Gather and Grow Long Sleeve ($80) in Black

Nothing like the ol’ wrap shirt or dress to make you feel flattered after a few too many charcuterie boards.

Favorite #5: Full Flourish Pullover ($128) in Black

This could be very chic, this could be very Seinfeld in a puffy shirt. I want to find this in person and find out!

The Dud: Beyond the Studio Jogger ($118) in Gold Buff

I don’t need anything in gold buff. I’m not sure anyone needs anything in gold buff. Maybe let’s all agree to let gold buff silently and speedily head on over to WMTM.

COLOR EXPLOSION!

Lots and lots of ways to sneak Catalyst Multi into your arsenal if the Wunder Trains just aren’t right for you:

Incentive Multi arrived recently in case you want the Elle Woods spin on Catalyst, and the lineup is reasonably strong as far as options on the bottom go. No F&Fs mean it’s thankfully easier for me to resist.

So the Speeds are already on WMTM, keep that in mind if you’re eyeballing this pattern. Usually once one domino falls…

9:21pm and I’m still wearing my shoes and jacket from work. Time to go to lay in the middle of the floor, stare at the ceiling, and wonder where in the hell Tuesday went.

  1. The full flourish pullover is amazing! I got black and chrome last year and wear them all the time (mostly to work now, but to dinner, concerts and date nights when that was a thing). They’re still in perfect shape a year later, so I highly recommend! I ordered chambray immediately. As well as the highlight yellow swiftly 🙂

    1. I am still regretting not getting the full flourish in Chrome when it came out last year! I LOVE spacer material and I think the fact that it could be worn in a work environment.

  2. I already ordered the hat—I am a sucker for anything reversible and I love, love, love the color in this print!
