lululemon Black Friday is live, and there are actually several options available, especially in the run/accessory space. My haul was an ice cold snooze that I’ll be thankful for when training for the NYC Half begins after Christmas.

Keep in mind while shopping

• If you see any item in plain black on markdown, it’s getting put out to pasture. Grab it before it’s gone forever.
• The Align Jogger *will* be gone forever after this, there’s even a graphic saying so.
• Fast & Free Tight – You can get the original version on markdown if you prefer them to the updated version (7 pockets vs 5 pockets).
• This is the most I’ve ever seen yoga mats discounted. lululemon makes GOOD mats. They’re probably marked down because their business model is currently more focused on high schoolers and scrunchies than yogis, so take the deal and run.
• If you see a ribbed version of something (ex. Aligns), the fit is generally a bit more snug.

The Best of What’s Around (11/23 – 10:00a ET)

As I mentioned, Fast & Frees. Also, the Base Pace Tight. They have a bit of a higher rise than the F&Fs (tall runners take note). IDK what these diamond dye Aligns are doing marked down, they’re my favorite pants to traipse around in all winter.

Bright pink has been a darling for the last 2 summers, in the form of either sonic pink or lip gloss, but her time may be up? Seeing more items than I would have thought available right now in both of those super bright shades.

Should I be offended that several items I already own are now on WMTM too? Here are some IRL looks at certain pieces:

Wunder Train Racerback Tank – I comfortably ran the NYC Marathon in it. 10/10 would buy again. $29 is a great price.

Updated Fast & Free Crop 23″ – I like the higher rise and mesh-lined waistband pockets, the kelly green does show sweat marks though. Also, the construction on the newer F&Fs seems to be shoddy. The last 2 pairs I’ve purchased have unraveled seams by wear 2 or 3. Unsure if it’s a coincidence or across the board. 6.8/10.

The Wunder Puff Cropped Vest is bright and yellow and happy and VERY WARM which is a little confusing if it’s so cold you need a thick down vest. I’d say it’s worth its marked down price tag, just maybe not the 228 beans I paid for it in a fit of seasonal depression back in January.

What’s going on with the popular kids?

Honestly not much going on in Scuba OS town. Your options are Oscar the Grouch or the dramatic magenta full zip (which ofc I paid full price for and accidentally shrunk the sleeves on). However, the traditional fit has some nice brights… if you’re a size 0.
