It was time to get crafty this week, because I had a date with Mickey Mouse: aka my sometimes (but other times semi) annual pilgrimage to eat & drink around the world at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. IYKYK.
Week 13 of 19: Overview
Racing on Sunday and then sliding my long run up to Friday was a bit much, but it had to be done. So I did it. Nothing was going to get in the way of me and that scampi dip.

Week 13 Workouts
She’s on the Peloton bike?! WHO IS SHE???

Made up Stat of the Week: Heartbeats per Mile (Minus 1500)
I’ve been more or less trying to mimic the same 5 miles with the same effort at the same time of day for a while now. After 13 weeks, it was time to use ye ol’ algebraic noggin to calculate if my heart really was becoming more efficient over time.
While it’s not possible to control the weather and other outside factors that can contribute to fatigue, it was really cool to see that overall, yeah, I was going the same distance and it ultimately appears to be easier from the cardio point of view.

Fundraising Progress
Fundraising goal complete, any additional funds are gravy. Nice.
