Fit Review: lululemon Evergreen Anorak & Swiftly Relaxed-Fit Long Sleeve

lululemonReviews

Had I purchased either, one would have been for work, the other for play. Can you tell which is which?

Sizing Notes: I’m 5’9″ – in lululemon, I am a TTS 8 on top and a 10 on the bottom.

Evergreen Anorak ($148) in Wild Bluebell/Cascade Blue/Lavender Dusk

IMO, it seems like Outdoor Voices has been leading the way on the color blocked 90s-inspired hiking gear trend, so you know lulu was eventually going to churn out their own version this spring, which they did.

TL:DR

Likes: Nostalgic aesthetic
Dislikes: No stretch, whatsoever
Sizing: TTS is fine, if you have big shoulders you may want to go up
Did I buy it? No
Why Not? Couldn’t comfortably lift my arms

Swiftly Relaxed-Fit Long Sleeve ($78) in Bronze Green

Of the eleventy billion Swiftlies I have… all are anxious, none are relaxed. The color convinced me to give the roomier fit a try.

TL:DR

Likes: Everything 🤩
Dislikes: None
Sizing: Perfect TTS
Did I buy it? No
Why Not? Because I’m silly and wanted to not spent money that day despite pining over it nonstop ever since and when the budget resets June 1 then I’ll grab if it’s still in stock!

  1. I can’t do an anorak. Pulling a jacket over my head just seems odd lol. I agree, nostalgic esthetic which I didnt like. A nope from me for me.

The swiftly definitely would have been for work? Although I’m partial to bright colours lately.

  2. LOVE that Swiftly on you!!! I’m team relaxed all the way…. I do bodybuilding and my arms and shoulders suffocate in the regular Swiftly tops. 😛 Agree the pullover is a pass…. it’s just not a cute design, and no stretch seems impractical.
