Coming home from vacation is the worst. Paying with miles so your flight only costs $11 and you end up with the first class upgrade with delicious dinner and free vodka all the way home helps soften the blow, but waking up with nothing but the unfortunate realization that the cubicle awaits really is the pits. (So are run-on sentences. Sorry.)
Now that I’ve quite literally gotten my head out of the clouds, time to get back to business! Anyone else beginning to mildly freak out over the upcoming CrossFit Open, despite the fact that there’s no chance of advancing past the Open anyway? Just me? Cool.

Favorite #1: Rain-On Train-On Pullover ($128) in boom juice
How can one not love this? Bright happy color, flattering fit, water-repellent. I like water-repellent.
I’ll admit that it’s a bit of a buzkill to have this available online only – if anyone orders the Rain-On Train on Pullover, please let us all know how it fits! 🙂
Favorite #2: Cool Racerback ($42) in porcelaine
Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Absof*ckinglutely. Porcelaine is one of those blues that will just look good with everything. I should buy this if only to color compare to Pipe Dream, right? Not a stretch for justification… not at all.
Favorite #3: Run: Speed Short *4-way Stretch ($54) in shifted horizon red grape black/red grape
I’ll be honest and admit that I have not been as on top of the lulu game as I should be lately. I apologize if these aren’t new this week and I’m showcasing something half of you already own. However…
They’re new to me and made me go ‘squee!’ so here the Speeds are in spot number three.

Favorite #4: Energy Bra ($48) in dandy digie multi/boom juice
The pop of bright colors that lulu’s been dropping these past 2 weeks has been incredibly welcome. CT is about as gray and drab as it gets right now, and this color scheme with the bright pink straps just makes me happy.
Favorite #5: Bring It Backbend Sweater ($128) in black
This one boils down to personal preference. I’ve really been digging the open back casual wear lately, so the Bring it Backbend takes the last piece of cake this week! That Energy Bra up above sure would look cute poking out, am I right? Also must state the obvious = thumbholes.
The Dud: Run: Speed Short *4-way Stretch ($54) in checker blooms multi/minty pink
Nobody listened to Tim Gunn on these. No, this color scheme does not ‘work’, the minty pink waistband is a minty pink buzzkill. Shorts, get on the ivivva rack where you belong.
