Well… whoops. It’s been more than a minute since I’ve last updated my corner of the internet. Those of you who have been around for a while have probably identified a pattern by now: when my work/life balance gets thrown askew – longer form blog posts are usually the first to fall casualty. With LDW upon us, it’s time to get back into a routine!
Summer 2022 Clif’s Notes: Worked a lot. Closet was full. Needed a break to recharge. Still shopped some. 😇
Maaaybe the closet’s reached a saturation point, but I still haven’t been able to stop myself from picking up new pieces of lululemon here and there. So as we all dive back into fall, it’s time to me to learn how to blog again and catch everyone up on my top picks since the last time I hit “post”.

The Ratings, Explained
- Docked a star from the Invigorate Training Tank due to the exposed elastic in the shelf bra. Slightly rough, could cause chafing.
- A+ compression out of the SenseKnit Running Short. Pricey but I’m happy with my purchase.
- The wider elastic in the leg openings on the shorts built into the Court Rival Skirt tends to roll over on itself when you take a big stride or sit down. Minus one star.
- I liked the Hotty Hot High-Rise Skirt, and was in one my “need dopamine more than I need this item of clothing” modes when I got it. When I didn’t eagerly take the tags off after 29 days, I decided I probably didn’t love it enough to keep. Instead, I opted to return in exchange for credit toward a few new items in July.
