5 Faves & a Dud: All Black (Cherry) Errthang

5 Faves & a Dudlululemon

I don’t know if it’s the rainy weather, the unexpected 15 hours of driving I did this weekend or what, but I am not feeling like myself today. Last night, I got in bed and didn’t even make the reach for the bedside lamp before passing out cold until 6:30a. So, I did what any female would do in an unwarranted mental fog. I went to Target and bought a package of Double Stuf Oreos.

I honestly don’t know where to start on upload this week, and not in the enthusiastic sense of the word. None of this new gear has gotten me riled up. So, when in doubt – let’s pick a theme and go for it. Let’s get fruity! (aka everything on the list will be black cherry)

Also, lulu needs to stop mixing in last week’s news with this week’s news. They been doing it for a little while now, and with life getting slightly nuts outside of the blogosphere, it’s becoming a bit more difficult for me to keep up. That said, I apologize if anything listed below really dropped last week. My brain is vacationing on Mars at the moment, TBD when it gets straight again.

Check out the muted selection here, and read on for my picks. (GET IT? Cherry? PICKS? See what I did there?!)

5 Faves & a Dud – 11/15/16 Upload

Favorite #1: Go Getter Bag (Heat) ($148)

Buy a lululemon-branded heat sleeve for your flatiron, get a free tote with purchase! Speaking of flatirons, I haven’t been to Colorado in 2 years. Gotta change that pronto. Love that state, miss that state. I need some mountains in my life.

Favorite #2: Align Pant II ($98)

Wore Aligns to work today under a dress. So much warmer and more comfortable than nylons. Win.

Favorite #3: Scuba Hoodie IV ($118)

If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. And again. Aaaand again. In the 4th incarnation of the Scuba, maybe the ‘improved’ fit includes a zipper that won’t go all the way up your nose. Maybe just halfway.

Favorite #4: Yogi Racerback IV ($48)

If you want to fall asleep in yoga class (or on the couch), wear this. Pima cotton is all the softness!

Favorite #5: Light Speed Sock *Silver ($18)

Ah, the last lulu frontier! No, I don’t own any lulu socks (still). But hey, it was these or the roll-down WUCs, which are essentially the Align Pant’s less pilly twin.

The Dud: Outrun 1/2 Zip ($108) in hazy heather heathered white heathered black

I’ve been overlooking the Outrun 1/2 Zip for the little while it’s been out now, but whether it’s a new colourway this week or not, this is the flattest item on the page for me. There’s something about the pattern’s weave that’s throwing me off.

So, here ya go. Le Dud of the week! Sorry, shirt. I’m sure you’re comfy. But really, though. What’s with that price tag?

In Conclusion…

Nothing for me this week except some Oreos and a box of peppermint mocha K-Cups from Target tonight. Is it bad that I want to go to bed at 8:49p?

Sorry for the lame and boring post this week. Upload was lame and boring too. Can we all just write today off?

    1. Same here, been spending my lulu money on old lulu from the Facebook boards, or just not spending it altogether.

There are a couple things I liked from the past couple uploads, like the nocturnal teal speed shorts, or the plum LS swiftly, but after seeing them in store, I was a bit disappointed in the colors IRL.

      1. Me too. I still buy lulu here and there but not even close to what i used to spend two years ago. I used to buy something every single upload… these days, maybe once a month? And mostly from WMTM. I got the nocturnal teal fast and free tights last week and they are amazing, but the price! Ouch! I’m liking the nulux a lot. Not sure why they don’t make more pants in that fabric.

  1. Argh I really can’t wait for my cousin in NZ to come back to Singapore with my Go Getter bag. She already sent me a video and the teal is beyond gorgeous. Haha as I commented in your previous post, I can’t believe I paid only NZ$79 for mine. US$148 is terrible for me with the current exchange rate.
