Did Katelin post that upload was coming early this week, or was this a total surprise? Ah whatever, new gear is up. Order by tomorrow for free shipping to arrive before Santa does! Check it all out here.

5 Faves & a Dud – 12/21/15 Upload

Favorite #1: Cool Racerback ($42) in raspberry

CRBIf you’re shopping for someone who you want to slowly lure into drinking the lululemonade… this tank is a fantastic piece to start with!

Favorite #2: Let’s Be Short Sleeve Tee ($58) in wee stripe tender violet black

Another plain and simple style, but this one earns points because of the pima cotton fabric… aka Softy McSofterson!

Favorite #3: Cashmere Bliss Pullover ($228) in heathered medium gray

Pricey as predicted, but I’m sure it feels like wearing a mother fluffing cloud.

Favorite #4: Interval Bra *Silver ($52) in black

The back of this one = win. Also, it incorporates Silverescent tech, meaning it will take you longer to smell funny post-WOD than usual. 🙂

Favorite #5: Run: Speed Short ($54) in dottie eyelet white black/black/tonka stripe black white

The ever-winning combo of black, white and GOLD hardware. Woot woot!

The Dud: Pace Rival Skirt II ($58) in dottie eyelet white black/mish mesh white black/millie mesh white black

Just as I start rambling about a winning combo of black & white, then this happens. While I usually like mixed patterns, this just has too much of a patchwork handkerchief vibe going on. Whomp whomp!

I know… many of you expected me to launch into a tailspin over the heathered sapphire blue &G0 Where-To Dress *Long Sleeve, but I’m holding on for the NAVY blue that was uploaded in the UK earlier this year.

Droids

AGH, SO CLOSE BUT SO FAR AWAY. Gahhh I hope that lulu doesn’t stop with the three currently available colors! Come. On. NAVY!

Sorry not sorry for the Star Wars reference. I finally came out from under a rock and went from having seen none of the films in 30 years to Episodes 4, 5 and 6 within 3 days. Yup, total geekout of a weekend, and I’d do it again.

  1. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your blog, both because I’m a fellow Lulu fan, and because you’re hilarious. Love the Star Wars cartoon…very nice and timely touch 😉

  2. Totally random, but do you prefer regular luon, full-on luon, or one of the occasional luxtreme blends that pops up for boogie shorts? The pickings are slim right now, but I might grab myself a pair in the next month. I want whichever will stay put best during lifting and will last the longest (no loose threads, holes, sheer spots).

    1. Hi Sam! If my back were against the wall to pick one fabric to work out in, it’s full-on luon. It’s a little thick, but I like how it can hold up to some dirt & barbell abuse.

The Luxtreme stuff I own feels inconsistent. Solid colors feel a bit thin, but when the patterns are woven (a la space dye twist) they’re more compressive.

Full-on luon in DARK COLORS is going to be your best bet if you don’t want anything to be sheer. Lighter colors (no matter what the fabric is) may end up giving the world a free show! :p
